Power supplies:
we have often been asked about mains transformers suitable for use with
Digitrax systems, and after some discussion with ALL Components,
we are pleased to recommend their OnTrack Controls transformers. These are available in three
amp ratings: the MT10, 240v input, 16v output, rated at 5 amps and priced
at £39.95; the MT9, 240v input, 18v output, rated at 8 amps and priced
at £59.95, for use with the 8 amp booster; and the MT20, 240v input, 15v
output, rated at 3 amps, priced at £25.00, for use with the DCS50.
The 5 amp range now includes
the MT10/2: two 5 amp output transformers in one steel case, 15v ac output,
and the MT10/4 with four 5 amp transformers, prices on application to
ALL Components. These are available to special order with approximately
three weeks delivery time.

Sound decoders:
we stock a range of sound decoders and speakers from Soundtraxx
for American locomotives and ESU for British and European locomotives.
The number of different sound decoders available, both locomotive-specific
and generic, is steadily growing. Check with SCC for details of current
stock.
Rolling roads: Bachrus Inc manufacture rolling roads for O scale locomotives
and smaller – perfect for examining a locomotive ‘running
in’ on the spot without having to follow it round a track. We currently
stock saddles in the basic kit of 4 complete saddles, sufficient for
all 4-axle locomotives, or in the add-on kit of 2 further saddles. Five
sizes are available: the 30 series for HO/OO and Sn3; the 50 series for
variable gauge 11-22 mm; the 40 series for variable gauge 6-11 mm; the
40(z) for Z and Nn3 and the 60 series for variable gauge 23-45 mm. The
stirrups support non-drive wheels or a tender while the saddles do the
