STATIONARY DECODERS AND DETECTION

DIGITRAX
The DS64 Quad Stationary Decoder has four outputs for controlling slow motion or solenoid point motors. It also has buffered point inputs which can be configured for block detectors, local point motor control, point position feedback, signalling system control messages, local animation control and cascaded route and point control. The DS44 Quad simply controls four slow motion point motors: easy to install and set up – no frills. The DS52 controls two individual point motors, and the DS51K controls single Kato Unitrack points.

DM1 DC Motor Adapter
For use with stationary decoders and bipolar point motors like Kato and LGB.

The BD4 Block Detector is a quad occupancy block detector for use with DS54’s LocoNet inputs. The BDL168 LocoNet Block Detector is a 16 unit current detector which can handle two RX4s.

Transponding means you can ascertain the block location of any specific locomotive or other rolling stock equipped with a transponding device. There are two Transponders for locomotives and other rolling stock: the TD1 Transponder (with no functions), and the TF4 with four auxiliary functions. Some Digitrax decoders have integrated transponding, so a separate transponder need not be added.

The RX4 Transponder Detector converts 4 units of a BDL168 block detector to transponder detectors.

The SE8 Signal Decoder can drive up to 32 signal heads or up to 8 slow motion turnout machines or 8 semaphore signals using slow motion turnout machines. A range of accessories to go with this board is available. Please ask for further details.

NCE
Switch-Kat Accessory decoder to control 1 Kato remote switch. Very simple to install and use – we have found that it will provide enough power to drive a cross-over of 2 points.
Snap-It Accessory decoder to control 1 twin coil machine (solenoid motor). Very simple to install and use. Does not require a 16v AC auxiliary power supply – it takes its power from the track – and so is ideal for controlling individual points that are not easily accessible. Screw connections are used.

UTP Two-socket panel for NCE throttle bus.

CML ELECTRONICS
This English company has designed its range of products to be fully compatible with the Digitrax LocoNet system but they are also, of course, NMRA DCC compatible.

The DAC10 is an 8 output accessory decoder to control points and signals: eg momentary action of point motors (eg Peco), continuously powered motors (eg Tortoise), relays, LED and filament lighting, and other DC motors. It is LocoNet certified.

The SIGM10 is an automatic signal controller for up to 10 signals. It sets the signal state according to the position of the points, other signals and trains. Please ask for further details.
